Sadly it has been necessary to close the Clubhouse for the foreseeable future.
The English Cricket Board has recommend that all forms of
recreational cricket are for now suspended. This extends to training, pre-season friendlies and any associated cricket activity.
Our thriving junior section offers training for children as young as three and competitive cricket from under-9s to under-17s.
We hope to resume normal cricket activities as soon as possible.

Located in the heart of Richmond, the Clubhouse is a thriving social hub, boasting the best beer garden in the town and serving great food and drinks.
The Clubhouse is not just about the cricket, although there are few things better in life than watching a game in the sunshine with an ice cold glass of beer or wine in hand. With a bar showing live sport, a restaurant serving great homemade food, and two function rooms, it is the ideal venue for social and business functions throughout the year. This includes weddings, birthday parties, christenings, conferences and more.

The Club currently has 5 adult teams playing on weekends, ranging from the highly competitive first team to the much more casual 5th XI. In addition to this, the club has a midweek team playing 20 over cricket.
The main ground at Hurgill Road ground has been known to hold upwards of 1,000 people on sunny days, and is a very pleasant place to watch or play cricket, with grass banking or bench seating available all the way round the ground, along with a patio area.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams all play home games here, with midweek games taking place where possible. The 4th and 5th teams play at Richmond School, making use of the multi-sports pavilion.
The Club has a thriving junior section providing opportunities for children aged 3 to 17.
We welcome new juniors of any standard for training, so it doesn't matter if you're an experienced cricketer or just fancy trying the game out. Training is available for all ages, from school years 3-11 inclusive, on Mondays or Fridays. Training is led by ECB qualified coaches and assisted by capable helpers.
As well as training, the club runs several junior teams in competitive leagues, at Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 age groups.
The Club values its members as their fantastic support means we can continue provide cricketing opportunities for all ages.
Membership is not just about playing cricket, but enjoying the social side too. You only need to be at the club on a Friday night, for example, to see the fantastic atmosphere created by children playing cricket whilst their families watch with a drink or a meal.
